Cookies
If you leave a comment on the website, you can choose to save your name, email address and URL in a cookie. This feature makes it easier to use the website, as you do not have to fill in the form every time you add a comment. The cookie data is deleted from your browser after one year.
If you have an account and log in to the website, we will set a temporary cookie to determine whether your browser supports cookies or not. This cookie does not contain any personal information and is deleted when you close your browser window.
When you log in, we set several cookies that store your login and display settings. Login cookies are deleted within two days, and cookies related to display settings are deleted after one year. If you select “Remember me” when logging in, your login details will be stored for two weeks. If you log out, the cookies related to your login will be deleted at the same time.
If you publish an article or edit an existing one, we store a cookie in your browser that contains the ID of the article being edited. The cookie expires after one day.
In addition, we use Google Analytics to collect information for the purpose of improving the user experience.
Embedded content from other websites
Articles on this site may contain embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Opening embedded content imported from other sites is comparable to the visitor visiting the third-party site themselves.

Who we share your information with
How long we retain information
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognise and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
We store the user profile information of registered users (if any). All users have the option to view, edit and delete their personal information at any time. Only the username cannot be changed. Website administrators can view and edit user profile information.
What rights do you have over your own data?
If you have a user account on this site or have left comments, you can request a summary file of your personal data, including all personal data you have provided to us. You can also request the deletion of your personal data. The right to delete your own data does not apply to personal data that we are required to retain for maintenance, legal or security reasons.
Where we send your information
Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.
